Creating and Sharing Insights that can be Applied Everywhere

I’ve seen lots of excellent, innovative thought leadership
that didn’t require category creation.

For example, consider the topics of leadership and trust.
There have been business books written ๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ for generations on both topics.
But it’s possible to point to individuals
who have advanced the conversation substantially in their field.

Some were academics, but many were not.

๐Ÿ“– Charles H. Green (with Trusted Advisor) created a landmark work on trust.
๐Ÿ“– Marshall Goldsmith delved into on leadership and feedforward.

They advanced the conversation in their fields
(and the overall practice of global business)
through excellence in thought leadership.

In the non-profit sector, there are organizations
– such as Habitat for Humanity and AARP –
that invest significantly into thought leadership. ๐Ÿ’ต

They’re not trying to create a new category.
Theyโ€™re trying to elevate all the categories โ€“
All the organizational processes and business relationships
Across the world. ๐ŸŒ

Though creating and sharing insights that can be applied everywhere

Thatโ€™s what thought leadership is all about.
