Giving Credit for Ideas

Want your idea to make an impact faster? 🛫
Let other people take some credit.
When you worry about getting “full”credit,
it becomes much harder to recruit others.

People who practice thought leadership
need others to help spread their ideas.

So be generous with credit and praise.

An abundance mindset is necessary
when you want an idea to make impact.

It’s sort of like a Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle for ideas:

The more you try to get “full” credit for an idea . . .

the harder it becomes to boost an idea’s velocity.

Credit and velocity are inversely correlated

The more you have of one, the less you have of the other.

So–

which approach will you and your org choose?
